Missouri Democratic Party's Chairman Stephen Webber held a town hall meeting on Wednesday at Truman State University.

"The Missouri Democratic Party is announcing a Farmer's Bill of Rights," Webber said.

The Farmer's Bill of Rights will be proposed in January to the Republican super-majority currently in the Missouri Congress.

"I think we can see the benefits of these policies right away ... I think Missouri farmers will benefit from that, but unfortunately the Republican super-majority has sold-out rural Missouri to these foreign-owned corrupt monopolies," Webber said.

Webber said the discussion will focus on "fighting back corporate monopolies and bringing wealth back to rural communities."
