The Missouri Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers Committee recently announced a new chairman at its 99th annual meeting.
Drew Lock, of La Plata, was elected chairman after he and his wife served on the committee for the past year. Lock and his wife work on his family's farm, which consists of about 2,300 acres of crop, pasture, and hay ground. He says he's excited about the opportunity and looking forward to assisting farmer and ranchers as needed.
"It's extremely exciting. It is truly an honor to have the opportunity and I feel blessed to have the opportunity to serve on the committee and also be chairman," says Drew Lock, Young Farmers and Ranchers Committee Chairman.
