Missouri transportation funding plan taking shape
Wed, 26 Mar 2014 22:56:06 GMT — With the proposed $8 billion, 10 year, Missouri Transportation funding plan coming together, MoDOTâ??s Regional Transportation Planning partners held a public meeting early Wednesday. The meeting was held at the Adair County Annex building.
Glenn View Strategies Project Development firm facilitated the meeting.
â??The projects will be up to the regional planning partners to decide. All we're doing is helping them to facilitate the decision making process. Projects that are prioritized here at the regional level will then go into a prioritization process at the northeast district level,â?? says CEO Jeff Glenn.
There are three regional planning partners participating in the planning process. The Northeast Missouri Regional Planning Commission, The Mark Twain Council of Governments along with the Boonslick Regional Planning Commission are all responsible for funding concerns before they are presented to MoDOT.
