Missouri woman injured after car strikes mailbox and overturns
CLARK COUNTY, Mo. —
A northeast Missouri woman is recovering after being involved in a serious car crash.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, that wreck happened at 6:45 a.m. Saturday.
The car was traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 136 in Clark County.
Troopers say the vehicle driven by Marilyn Barnhart, 46, of Wayland, Missouri, traveled off the left side of the highway.
The car then struck a mailbox and overturned into a ditch.
Barnhart was flown to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois, for treatment.
The crash report states she was wearing a seat belt when the crash occurred.
