Movie fun at the Kirksville Aquatic Center

The Kirksville Aquatic Center is hosting its second Dive-in movie night for all area high school students. The event will take place Saturday, February 8th at 7:30 p.m.

The Dive-in is a pool party and movie showing. This Saturday's movie of choice is Pirates of the Caribbean.

Admission is $8 per student. The $8 will cover pizza and soda costs. The aquatic center is also planning to do things a little differently than usual for all in attendance.

â??One thing special about this event is we're allowing floats and tubes so they can bring out their floats and float on them. Itâ??s not something we normally allow here, so that's some kind of special treat we have. Weâ??re going to break the rules for one night only,â?? said the Aquatic Center event planner Robin Harden.

Floats are recommended for those who are planning to attend Dive-in. The event will only be open to high school students. Everyone is encouraged to arrive on time because the movie will begin promptly at 8 p.m.
