The Missouri Rural Enterprise and Innovation Center in Kirksville is planning a possible fall competition where inventive minds can pitch their business ideas to a panel of local experts.
After last month's successful "shark tank" style pitch competition, MREIC is in the process of selecting a date for the next competition.
The event is set to take place at A.T. Still University.
The purpose of the pitch competition is to help small business owners develop skills for speaking with potential investors.
The winner of last month's competition was Richard Green, the owner of Pedals and Spokes Bicycle Repair Shop in Kirksville.
