NEMO driver injured after single-vehicle crash
NEAR ADAIR, Mo. —
A motorist was injured after a one-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon.
The incident happened just south of the junction of Highway 11 and Route J, near Adair, Missouri.
Troopers told KTVO on scene that the driver of a pick-up was southbound on the two-lane highway, rounding a bend in the road.
The driver began to drift onto the shoulder.
That's when he over corrected and crossed the median.
He struck a residential archway and the truck then came to a rest in the front lawn.
Traffic was stopped for about a half an hour as law enforcement conducted an investigation and cleared the damage.
The driver was transported to Northeast Regional Medical Center by ambulance for treatment.
The extent of his injures were not not mentioned on scene, but KTVO was told the motorist was conscious.
