NEMO woman recovering after airborne crash
PUTNAM COUNTY, Mo. —
A northeast Missouri woman is recovering after her car became airborne.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the single-vehicle crash occurred at 1:50 p.m., on Saturday.
Stacey Semple, 37, of Kirksville, was traveling northbound on Missouri Route B near Lemons.
Troopers say she failed to negotiate a curve.
As a result, her vehicle became airborne and then struck the ground.
Semple was transported to Putnam County Memorial Hospital by ambulance for treatment of moderate injuries.
Troopers add that she was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
