Members from the North Missouri Drug Task Force joined in Kirksville to celebrate Police Chief Dave Haneâ??s services not only for the task force but also for his work in the city of Brookfield. At the meeting Police Chief Dave Hane was awarded a plaque commemorating his hard work over the years. Sheriff Chris Hues from Chariton County will be taking his place as president of the Northern Missouri Drug Task Force and another experienced police officer will be taking over duties in Brookfield.
â??My replacement as police chief with the city of Brookfield has already been announced. He's a long time Major Rick German. Rick has been with the department for 30 years so obviously he understand how we operate and I would anticipate that he would carry on in the same fashion that we have,â?? said Dave Hane Police Chief and City Manager for the City of Brookfield.
Hane told us one of his biggest accomplishments was helping to start the North Missouri Drug Task Force with the rest of the board members.
