A Glenwood, Mo. man is charged with theft after authorities say he stole four calves from a Davis County resident.
Lucas Lee Robinson is charged with Theft in the 2nd Degree. It's believed three juveniles were also involved in the crime.
Authorities allege that late Friday night, Robinson, along with the juveniles, went into a field and stole the calves. According to authorities, they then loaded the calves into the defendant's truck and went back to Missouri.
Next, authorities believe that Robinson and another juvenile attempted to sell the calves at the Scotland County Livestock Auction the next day.
Auction workers believed the calves were possibly ones reported stolen out of Davis County. The auction house contacted the Scotland County Sheriff and the suspects were then taken into custody.
Police say Robinson admitted to the crime and gave a written statement detailing the theft. He was cited and released to appear in court.
Charges are pending for the juveniles.
