Northeast Missouri woman injured in crash
Sullivan County, Mo. —
A northeast Missouri woman was injured after the car she was in went airborne.
The crash happened just before 8 p.m. Monday in Sullivan County, Mo.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Joseph Wallace, 52, of Purdin, Mo., was traveling on Highway 5 about a mile south of Milan when he ran off the side of the road, struck a concrete curb, causing the vehicle he was driving to go airborne.
He was not injured, but his wife, Denise Wallace, 48, received serious injuries.
She was taken by ambulance to Sullivan County Memorial Hospital.
According to the crash report, both were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.
