With less than two weeks before the start of school, the Adair County R-I Superintendent is already preparing for the students' return.
Rick Roberts says the focus for this week is conducting teacher and administrator evaluations.
The superintendent says he has about 28 staff members for this school year and he expects an average of about 270 students.
Roberts says the main thing students should look forward to for this school year is an upgrade in technology.
â??One of the big things we've tried to push toward was the wireless network and we have it in place and we'll continue to try to work through that as well as implementing new computers and adding to our present computers and moving the old ones out,â?? said Roberts.
The first day of school is Wednesday, August 20th.
However, staff returned a bit early this year.
The school is currently undergoing routine cleaning in preparation for the students' arrival.
