Monday was the final day of the Old Threshers Reunion in Mt. Pleasant.
The event started on Thursday with a parade, as well as a lot of live entertainment.
The reunion started in 1950 as a steam show to preserve the Midwestâ??s agricultural heritage.
Everything from cars to vintage tractors could be seen at Old Threshers.
â??We've had a great Labor Day weekend here at the Old Threshers Reunion this year. Started off with an amazing day on Thursday, lots of visitors came out and we had a nice day on Friday and then a little bit of rain on Saturday but that didn't stop folks. I think a lot of the folks in the Heartland hadn't seen that stuff coming down from the sky for awhile so they came out to enjoy the rain we had on Saturday and take part in everything we had out here at Old Threshers,â?? said Terry McWilliams, Midwest Old Threshers.
McWilliams added that planning for next yearâ??s reunion is already underway.
