A northeast Missouri driver was life-flighted from the scene of a rollover accident after losing control of his SUV late Wednesday morning.
The crash happened at 10:45 a.m. on Highway 63, less than a mile south of Millard.
The SUV was driven by Jacob Ruthruff, 25, of Shelbina.
He was the only one injured in the incident.
The vehicle came to rest upside down in the median of Highway 63.
Sergeant Tom Rohn from the Missouri State Highway Patrol told us what caused the crash.
â??The vehicle was northbound on US 63. He swerved to miss a farm implement that was driving north bound on the shoulder. He lost control, slid across the median rolled over and hit a MODOT sign and came to rest on its top in the median,â?? said Sgt. Rohn.
Rohn told us Ruthruff swerved to miss a combine.
Ruthruff was airlifted to a Columbia Hospital where he's listed in fair condition.
