OTTUMWA, Iowa —
A two-vehicle crash slowed the afternoon commute in Ottumwa Monday.
Around 2:30 p.m., Ottumwa Police officers responded to the accident at the intersection of Myrtle and Bardell streets.
A silver SUV was traveling north on Bardell Street when police say a maroon SUV pulled into its path from Myrtle Street.
No one was hurt, but the driver of the maroon SUV was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign.
Myrtle Street was blocked to traffic for less than an hour.
Two other minor crashes were reported in Ottumwa shortly after. Officers also responded to a second crash on Business 63 and a third on Second Street.
