Ottumwa High School students' art on display at IHCC

Itâ??s amazing the talent that young people have and running until April 18, you can see the extraordinary artwork of Ottumwa High School students at the IHCCâ??s Art Gallery.

The eclectic art work covers every medium from sculptures to watercolor paintings.

For the young artists, this is a chance to have their art work seen by the public.

â??Just having people give you feedback on some of the artwork that you've done and just having it be up on display for a lot of people here in Ottumwa and just it's really cool,â?? said Hugo Rodriquez, OHS Junior.

â??Yeah I like getting feedback because then I know what I can improve on and then it's a good feeling inside when people like your art. I like that I can do any 3-D art and create whatever I want and express myself no matter what,â?? said Jacqulyn Johnston, OHS Sophomore.

The artwork will be on display through April 18. The gallery hours are Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Sunday from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
