The Quincy Place Mall in Ottumwa hosted their annual International Fair.
Guests toured each booth to explore the different countries that were represented. Examples of different cultures were shown through photos, books, costumes, music and food. Suzanne Tanner held a booth educating visitors of her home country in Switzerland. "One of the things that guests really like is my homemade bread," Tanner said. "When I came to America I really missed my bread so I baked a lot of bread. It's crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. It's a braided bread and so that's something I'm selling now today. I'm proud to be Swiss and really great it is to be in America as a Swiss so, yeah, I'm proud."
The International Festival went until 4 p.m. Saturday and will return again next year.
