Ottumwa man wins $30,000 on scratch game
An Ottumwa man has won a $30,000 lottery prize.
James Thudium Jr. claimed the 41st of 97 top prizes of $30,000 available in the Iowa Lotteryâ??s â??Crosswordâ?? instant-scratch game.
Thudium claimed his prize Wednesday at the lotteryâ??s headquarters in Des Moines. He purchased his winning ticket at Caseyâ??s, 203 S. Lincoln in Knoxville.
Fifty-six top prizes of $30,000 are still up for grabs in Crossword, as well as 78 prizes of $3,000 and thousands more prizes of $300 and $100.
