Ottumwa woman arrested, facing several charges
An Ottumwa woman is being held in the Wapello County Jail facing several charges.
On Friday, Bette McNabb, 36, was arrested and charged with Driving While Barred. McNabb had additional arrest warrants for Conspiracy to Delivery more than five grams of meth, two counts of Forgery, two counts of Theft 5th, Theft Detection Devices, Providing False Identification and two counts of Failure to Appear.
McNabb was also charged with three counts Credit Cards, Burglary 3rd (Theft from motor vehicle), Criminal Mischief 5th and Theft 5th.
Those charges were filed after an investigation was conducted by Wapello County Sheriffâ??s deputies after taking a report last week of a vehicle being broken into and a purse taken.
The vehicle was parked at Sycamore Park Wildlife Area located in the 13000 block of Sycamore Road located north of Ottumwa at the time of the burglary.
McNabb is being held on $100,000 bond.
