Ottumwa woman charged with sex abuse, pleads not guilty
Ottumwa, Iowa —
An Ottumwa woman is pleading not guilty to sex abuse.
20-year-old Sandra Letecia Amos was arrested Sunday for engaging in sexual conduct with a juvenile of 14 or 15 years of age.
According to Wapello County Court records, Amos allegedly forced, persuaded or coerced the minor to fully or partially disrobe.
She is now being charged with Third-Degree Sex Abuse, Sexual Misconduct and Lascivious Conduct with a Minor.
Her preliminary hearing has been set for April 30.
She is still in custody with a $13,000 bond.
