UPDATE: Police name man injured in fall from pickup truck
KIRKSVILLE, Mo. —
Police say the passenger who fell from the back of a pickup truck on Saturday is Austin Haywood, 24, of Liberty, Mo.
The driver, Bryan Moore, 23 of Lone Jack, Mo., has now been formally charged with DWI Resulting in Serious Physical Injury, Class D Felony.
Moore was being held in the Adair County Jail on $10,000 cash-only bond. A jail spokeswoman told KTVO Monday afternoon that Moore has been released after posting bond.

A homecoming weekend mishap ended in the serious injury of a passenger and charges for the driver of a pickup truck.
Bryan Moore, 23, of Lone Jack, Mo., was arrested for Second-Degree Assault on Suspicion of Operating a Motor Vehicle while Intoxicated Resulting in Serious Physical Injury.
According to a press release from the Kirksville Police Department, Moore was driving a pickup with three passengers in the bed of the truck, along with a barbecue grill. When the truck sped up sharply near the intersections of Davis and Randolph streets Saturday, one passenger fell from the back of the pickup and suffered serious injuries.
The passenger, who was not named by police, was flown to the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
