Man arrested for stealing donation box for child with cancer

Police say they have arrested a man for stealing a donation box from the Casey’s General Store in Bloomfield.

The donations were intended to go to the family of a child who has been diagnosed with cancer.

Bloomfield Police Chief Shawn Armstrong told KTVO that after they arrested Jeff Horn, of Bloomfield, for Fifth-Degree Theft, he was also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Unlawful Possession of Prescription Drugs.

Horn is being held in the Davis County Law Enforcement Center.
