Pollard legal troubles continue

Bruce Pollard is still facing a myriad of legal problems

Despite his recent conviction for First Degree Murder, 26-year-old Bruce Pollard is still facing a myriad of legal problems.

Pollard is still facing four active felony cases. The charges stem from a robbery spree Pollard allegedly committed in the days surrounding his murder of adult theater manager Kenneth McDaniel in the march of 2012.

Pollard was originally scheduled to stand trial on Sept. 8 on a criminal mischief charge, but that trial whas been continued.

His next scheduled trial date is Nov. 5 on two counts of Robbery in the First Degree.

The other two cases involved charges of Burlgarly in the Second Degree and another First Degree Robbery charge. Those cases have been put on hold until the November trial is completed.

Meanwhile, Pollard has filed a notice of appeal for his conviction for McDaniel's murder.

Unless he wins that appeal, Pollard will serve a mandatory life sentence for the murder conviction.
