Powerball jackpot at $400M after no weekend winner
Mon, 05 Aug 2013 13:53:29 GMT — No one hit the Powerball jackpot on Saturday, so the money will roll over: A cool $400 million for the next drawing. While hefty, the prize for Wednesday's drawing is still well below the record $590.5 million jackpot won in May by an 84-year-old Florida woman. The winning numbers Saturday were 21, 24, 36, 42 and 45; the Powerball was 15. The odds of matching all six numbers are 1 in 175.2 million. Powerball is played in 43 states, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
