Prelim waived on drug and weapons charges

Andrew Cordray, 33, faces drug and weapons charges.

A northeast Missouri man, charged with three felonies, has his case moved into circuit court.

Andrew Cordray, 33, of Greentop is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of an illegal weapon. He is currently free on bond.

According to court papers, officers did a well being check on Cordray, who then gave them permission to search the residence.

During the search a glass pipe with a green leafy substance was found, as was a plastic container with a white powdery substance, which later tested positive for meth. Officers also found the sawed off stock of a shotgun.

In a vehicle outside the residence officers discovered a glass pipe with burnt residue and a sawed off shotgun.
