Prison time for woman charged with having sex with dog
A north Missouri woman that pleaded guilty to four charges, including three felonies, was back in court Tuesday to learn her fate.
Christina Spaid, 35, of Moberly, formerly of Macon, entered guilty pleas in January to felony counts of first-degree endangering the welfare of a child, second-degree statutory sodomy, use of a child in a sexual performance and a misdemeanor count of unlawful sex with an animal. The incidents date back to 2010.
On Tuesday, Spaid was back in Macon County Circuit Court where Judge Mike Greenwell handed down the sentence of seven years for each felony and one year for the misdemeanor charge. Each sentence will be served concurrently, for a total of seven years behind bars.
