      Queen City hosts historic event

      Queen City, Missouri is bustling with people this weekend with the annual Pioneer Days and Junior Livestock show underway. Saturday TMs events included the grand parade, stage entertainment, and a fireworks show. Queen city hosted a variety of events all throughout the week, including its famous buffalo sandwiches and everything else you'd expect to see at a county fair.

      Around here a lot of us call it the world's fair for our region. It TMs a big event we look forward to and after we've worked on it for several years, we like to look back up on it. We have a lot of fun working here, said Board Member James Starbuck.

      Starbuck says the historical event has been put on by the Junior Livestock Show and the Pioneer Association since 1963.The festivities wrap up Sunday with a tractor pull at Wrangler Arena at noon.
