Kirksville police are on the hunt for three people who managed to pull a quick change scam at Walgreens.
Police say a male individual entered the store on Sunday night along with a female. They were both later accompanied by another male subject.
The first male had purchased an item and then conducted a quick change scam where he had asked for various amounts of change.
The three managed to leave the store with an undisclosed amount of money.
"We often see more than one business fall victim to these types of scames at one time. All cashiers should be vigilant and pay attention to customers asking for change," Det. Jeremy Cordray said.
If anyone has seen or recognizes these three individuals, they are asked to contact the Kirksville Police Department at 660-665-5621, 660-785-6945 or the anonymous line at 660-627-2878.
