Randolph County residents arrested on drug charges

Two Randolph County residents are now in custody on drug charges.
Tuesday April 1st around 3:40 p.m. members of the Randolph County Sheriffâ??s Office, the North Missouri Drug Task Force, the Moberly Police Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol served a search warrant at 1026 County Road 2360 in Randolph County.
During this search an undisclosed amount of Methamphetamine was seized.
Samson Gene Hess, 41, was arrested and charged with distributing, delivering, manufacturing or producing a controlled substance and keeping or maintaining a public nuisance.
Hess remains in custody at the Randolph County Jail with bond set at $75,000.
Also arrested was Elizabeth Lorraine Ashburn, 28. Ashburn was charged with distributing, delivering, manufacturing or producing a controlled substance and keeping or maintaining a public nuisance, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
Bond was also set at $75,000 and Ashburn remains in custody at the Randolph County Jail. Warrants have been issued by a Randolph County Judge on these charges, while other charges are pending.
