Roles were reversed Friday for local educators.
Truman State University held their sixth annual language and literacy conference for local teachers, students and alumni.
Participants were provided instruction in the area of literacy and literacy development.
As in previous years, the conference had an impressive turnout with over one hundred attendees.
â??Itâ??s a great developing opportunity for local teachers and SLPâ??s and of course for our students and our alumni enjoy coming back and visiting Truman and also developing their skills as teachers and speech language pathologists,â?? said Janet Gooch, Dean of the Health Sciences and Education at Truman State.
Next up for those in attendance is to practice applying what they have learned to their own classroom.
