      Routine traffic stop leads to drug arrest

      <p> <font size="2">An Eddyville man is facing several drug charges after a routine traffic stop Monday morning.</font> </p>

      An Eddyville man is facing several drug charges after a routine traffic stop early Monday morning.

      According to the Wapello County Sheriff??s Office, officers initiated the traffic stop around 12:59 a.m. at the intersection of Walnut and 7th Street in Eddyville, Iowa.

      The driver, Kevin Lynn Galbraith, 36, was arrested and charged with Operation without Registration, and Improper use of Registration and two counts of Driving while Suspended.

      In addition to the traffic violations Galbraith was also charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver 5 grams or more of Methamphetamine, Possession with Intent to Deliver less than 50k of Marijuana and three counts of Unlawful Possession of Prescription Drug.

      Galbraith is currently being held in the Wapello County Jail on a $108,000 bond.
