The Community Action Partnership of Northeast Missouri will be one of the many speakers at the 19th Annual Kids Day.

The event will be held at the Adair County Ambulance District October 7th from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm.

The community agency's Head Start program is looking to alleviate parent's worries by showing the safety precautions it takes to insure safe travel on buses to and from school.

""We're teaching children safety not only on the bus and how to be safe around the bus, but also riding the bus. We're telling the parents they're in safe hands," said Transportation Facilities In-kind Area Content Manager Doris Weibrecht

Head Start will have one of its school buses at the event to show the five-point harness system used to secure children.
