Second man arrested in connection with Kirksville home search

Kirksville Police have made another arrest in connection with a search of a Kirksville home on Wednesday afternoon.

32-year-old Joshua Craig of Kirksville already faces three meth-related charges in the case.

Now, police have arrested James Tipton, 43, of Kirksville on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, a Class B felony, possession of methamphetamine, a Class C felony, and keeping or maintaining a public nuisance, a Class C felony.

His arrest and these charges are all related to the home search in the 400 block of north Marion Street by the Adair County Sheriff's Office and Kirksville Police Department Wednesday.

Besides drugs, investigators also discovered thousands of dollars worth of stolen property during their search.
