Seven adults were taken into custody after officials found multiple drug-related items.
Several law enforcement officials executed a search warrant of a home in Lancaster Friday night.
According to police documents, there were multiple items seized from the home including methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia for both marijuana and meth along with items used in its manufacture and distribution.
Authorities tell us Synthetic Cannabis along with large amounts of cash and multiple firearms were also seized.
The search warrant stemmed from an investigation by Lancaster Police Chief Jason Moss into suspicious activity. During the investigation indications were noticed that suggested illegal drug activity at the residence.
The Lancaster Police Department, the K-9 unit, Schuyler County Sheriffâ??s Department, Queen City Police, NOMO Drug Task Force and the Missouri State Highway Patrol were all involved in the investigation.
The seven adults were taken into custody Friday and are awaiting formal felony charges.
Chief Jason Moss wants to assure the residents of Lancaster that illegal drug activity will not be tolerated. He says all leads are taken seriously and thoroughly investigated.
