Sex offender pleads not guilty in child stalking case
A Macon man has entered a not guilty plea in Macon County Circuit Court.
William Joyner, 45, entered the plea during a court appearance Wednesday. Joyner is charged with aggravated stalking.
He had been held without bond; however a bond amount was set Wednesday. He is now held under $100,000 cash only bond.
Joyner, a registered sex offender, is accused of stalking a 12-year-old in Macon, saying he loved her and thought they were "soul mates".
Joynerâ??s next court appearance is set for May 29.
