Sheriff asks for information on missing Batavia girl
Authorities consider a 15-year-old Batavia, Iowa, girl missing. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office says the father of Jessica Kahl told authorities on Nov. 9 the girl had run away. Her disappearance is not considered suspicious, but authorities say she was entered as a missing juvenile due to her age.
Jessica Kahl is described as a white female, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 115 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Jessica was last seen wearing a Penn State hooded sweatshirt, white jeans and black tennis shoes with red laces.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office says Jessica may be in the company of 25-year-old William Nicely. Nicely is described as a white male, 5 feet 11 inches tall and 160 lbs. Nicely may be driving a 1993 single cab Ford diesel pickup, color unknown. Destinations could include Pennsylvania, Wyoming or Alabama.
