Adair County Sheriff Robert Hardwick educated ATSU medical students about an epidemic sweeping The Heartland.
Hardwick talked to the students them about Meth producing products like Sudafed and Drano.
A group of the students reached out to Sheriff Hardwick because they wanted to learn what to look for when dealing with Meth users.
Hardwick said he wants to make it harder for Meth users to get household products. Educating the public on the dangers of Meth is one of Hardwick??s goals.
He says that stopping the over the counter sale of items that contain Psuedoephedrine, such as Sudafed, would help shrink the number of Meth labs.
