RAil held an open house Friday featuring a new service that will be provided to some Heartland residents in Linn, Putnam, and Sullivan counties. The new service is called Show Me options and it all thanks to a partnership of groups that assist the disabled in Missouri and is comprised of Rail, Meril, Access 2, and Northwest Missouri on aging. Show Me Options will act as a central hub with skilled representatives that will help find information on services the disabled might need.
â??Show me options doesn't provide the services, they provide the information which would be for housing, meals on wheels, for utilities, for somebody who needs help understanding their Medicare part D, finding assisting technology, places that do home modifications, and modifications to vehicles. That type of thing,â?? said Rail Supervisor Carolyn Chambers.
If you would like to learn more about the new service, you can call toll free at 1-888-295-6461 or visit their website at www.showmeoptions.com.
