      Shrimp Tortellini Diablo Pasta

      Andrea Greer's Shrimp Tortellini Diablo

      Diablo sauce:

      Ingredients:

      ? 1 tablespoon olive oil ? 1 tablespoon butter ? 1/2 cup diced onion ? 2 tablespoons minced garlic ? 1/3 cup dry vermouth (or dry white wine) ? 1 28oz can diced tomatoes) ? 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes ? 1 teaspoon brown sugar ? 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley ? 1 lemon, cut into wedges ? 1/2 cup cream? Cheese Tortellini pasta

      Directions:

      Add the olive oil and butter to a pan over medium heat. Once the butter has melted, add the diced onions and saut for 3 to 4 minutes. Next, add the minced garlic and saut for another 5 minutes. Add the vermouth and allow to simmer for about a minute. Add the tomatoes, red pepper flakes and brown sugar then simmer for another 8 minutes then add cream. Cook off pasta and add to the sauce. You can add shrimp or chicken to this dish also. ]
