Single-vehicle crash injures two northeast Missouri men

A single-vehicle crash has injured two northeast Missouri men.

The accident happened around 8 p.m. Tuesday in Adair County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened on Route N just 12 miles southwest of Kirksville.

Troopers say Christopher Jones, 25, of Kirksville, traveled off the road, returned back onto the road before traveling off the other side, causing his car to flip.

Jones received moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Northeast Regional Medical Center.

His passenger, Marcus Jones, 24, also of Kirksville, received moderated injures. He was transported by a private vehicle to the hospital.

Both are expected to be OK.

According to the crash report, both were wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol was assisted by the Adair County Sheriff’s Office and the Adair County Rural Fire Department.
