With much needed warmer weather approaching in the next couple of months, wedding season is in the air. Brides-to-be gathered in Fairfield planning their special day at the Southeast Iowa Bridal Expo.
Many brides to be in the Southeast Iowa area region were able to see what vendors had to offer.
Vendors at the expo offered numerous services such as cakes, wedding dresses, and catering options.
While some brides-to-be were planning the final details for their weddings, others were still in preliminary planning steps.
Skylar Gray will be getting married next summer and is just beginning her planning.
"I'm looking at photography," said Gray. "Hopefully at flowers and maybe at catering options. I don't know, we'll see."
She is excited for her upcoming wedding.
Gray hopes to use mason jars as decorations at her wedding.
She also hopes to look at dresses for herself as well as her bridesmaids.
Attendees at the event were also able to view a bridal fashion show featuring the latest fashions for brides, mothers, bridesmaids, flower girls, and even the upcoming proms.
