Southeast Iowa man accused of sexual abuse of child
Pella, Iowa —
A Pella, Iowa, man is jail accused of sexually assaulting a young girl.
According to the Pella Police Department, Justin Daniel Nolan, 33, has been charged with one count of Second-degree Sexual Abuse.
The charge stems from an incident that occurred in late 2016.
Police say Nolan committed a sex act with a female under the age of 12.
Nolan was arrested on Wednesday in Des Moines.
He is being held in the Marion County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
If convicted, Nolan could be sentenced to 25 years.
Next up in the case, a May 18 preliminary hearing.
