KTVO caught up with Iowa State Representative Mary Gaskill at yesterday's legislative forum to discuss the progress of the legislative session.
She said the session is off to a slow start.
"In my estimation it's going pretty slow as far as moving bills. So I'm anticipating one of these days it's going to start moving really fast," said State Rep. Gaskill (D)/93rd District.
Gaskill said her personal goal this year is to help the poor and the middle class.
She said she's strongly considering three minimum-wage bills to aid that effort.
