Mon, 17 Mar 2014 21:34:18 GMT —
One Truman State University student group is collecting clothes for a great cause.
The service sorority, Tau Lambda Sigma, will be holding a thrift shop on campus this Wednesday, March 19.
On Monday, the group was collecting donated clothes.
They will be able to offer those clothes to customer at extremely affordable prices.
All the money raised will be for the American Cancer Society.
"The American Cancer Society has been our main philanthropy. It's close to a lot of us. We've had girls who lost family members to cancer. We just had a professor from Truman who just passed away from cancer. It's a big organization we've always donated to," said TLS Fundraising Chair Erica Nolan.
The thrift shop will be open to the public.
The shop will be at the Student Union Building on campus this Wednesday from 1:30-7:30pm.
