One northeast Missouri fair came to an end on this Saturday as the Sullivan County Fair had its last day at the American Legion Building and Grounds in Milan.
Our cameras were there Saturday morning as 4-H and FFA students and their families where having a breakfast and getting ready for the beef show.
All week long, students were presenting projects and animals in categories such as cake decorating, goats, sheep, pigs and dogs.
Local kids told us that this hometown fair has a special place in their hearts.
"I feel pretty good about showing at the Sullivan County Fair because I'm from Sullivan County and it feels good about bringing out the animals and show at your home show," said Conner Clark.
"Showing at my hometown makes me feel really good. When you go to other fairs, you don't feel right at place. Here you feel right at home," said Emma Clark.
There was also the super farmer competition which involved kids to compete in an obstacle course full of a farmer's daily tasks.
The fair board was very happy with the turnout of this year's fair and can't wait for next year.
