The KTVO News team was in Keosauqua Saturday morning to help kick-off a weekend full of Scenic Drive Fest events.
"This is beautiful, absolutely gorgeous here. It's a nice fall day and the trees are turning and a lot of things to do, it's a good time," said Micky Huedepohl.
The sun was a very welcome sight after rainy weather ruined many of the fall festivities last year.
But the weather wasnâ??t the only thing attendees could enjoy. Keosauqua was filled with booths offering everything from burgers and rib-eye, to potpourri and jewelry.
The town square was also filled with parade goers, watching fire-trucks, floats, horses, and of course lots and lots of candy.
It was enough to make any child smile.
"I like the candy and all the cool things going on around and I like spending time with my little brother, helping him get candy," said Jackson Johnston.
Scenic Drive Fest continues through Sunday with fun fall events across Van Buren County.
