A rollover crash at a local state park Friday afternoon sent a northeast Missouri woman to the hospital.

The one-vehicle crash happened just after 4 p.m. on Highway 157, better known as the lake road, at Thousand Hills State Park.

State Trooper Brent Mason told KTVO at the scene the SUV was driven by Ceria Dile, 22, of Green Castle.

Mason said Dile was headed into the park when she veered off the right side of the roadway, came back onto the road, then again ran off the right side of the highway where the SUV flipped at least two times, coming to rest on its passenger side among trees along the road.

Investigators said Dile was wearing her seat belt.

She suffered minor injuries and was taken by Adair County ambulance personnel to Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville to be checked out.

The crash happened near the entrance to the state park's swimming beach.

The Adair County Sheriff's Office and Adair County Rural Fire also helped at the scene.
