Teen arrested following Macon school bomb threat
A northeast Missouri teenager is under arrest, suspected of writing a note containing a bomb threat that was found at Macon High School on Halloween.
Macon police announced Tuesday that the department's school resource officer at Macon R-1 had taken an 18-year-old white male into custody around 9:30 Tuesday morning in connection with the threatening note.
No explosive devices were found on the Macon School Campus during a search by law enforcement agencies last Thursday afternoon.
Stephen M. Hill, of Macon, has been charged with making a terroristic threat, a Class D Felony. Hill is being held on a $5,000 cash only bond.
