Have you ever been driving and thought this road should have four lanes? Now is your chance to voice your opinion where it matters.
The Missouri Department of Transportation will be having a listening session to gather information to help the department plan for the state's transportation future.
MoDOT said it is not just highways it wants your opinion on; it also wants your opinion on transit issues, ports, rail and airports...anything that deals with transportation.
â??Weâ??re just looking for input from the citizens of Missouri on where they would like to see their transportation system moving forward,â?? said Area Engineer Brian Haeffner. â??We know there are a lot of transportation needs out there. Weâ??ve got bridges that need to be replaced; roads that need to keep maintained. We want to hear input from Missouri.â??
The Kirksville listening session is scheduled for April 3 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Truman State University Student Union building.
