The Beachâ??s manager Gene Rathje says itâ??s been a busy season for the most part, and they are expecting the water park to be packed this holiday weekend. Things slowed down a bit when the weather turned cool in July but picked right back up when the heat wave hit.
â??The reports we've got back so far have verified we've had a consistently good summer,â?? Rathje said. â??We made a profit of $30,000 in July, so that's usually the month that has to carry us through the rest of the budget year.â??
The Beach will be open all weekend during its normal hours from noon to 8 p.m. On Monday from 6-8 p.m., they will be hosting a doggy swim. Admission costs you one bag of dog food, which will all be donated to the Heartland Humane Society.
